Dove House and Swallows Catering Services

We have two fantastic, very professional cooks available for you at both Dove House and Swallows.

Kate Shepherd:

Kate has lived and worked locally for many years. She has cooked for us since we first opened Dove House and we have had nothing but praise for her service and food.

Kate cooks for all ranges of occasion locally, and is responsible for the food when Prince Charles visits Poundbury!!

She can do simple ready prepared meals for when you return from a long day out and about, or a special occasion dinner. Cakes, puddings, nibbles with drinks, you name it….

Mike Crankshaw:

Mike has been working for us since early 2006. Kate was occasionally too busy and we were lucky enough to have Mike recommended. He has proved a real find.

Years of experience mean that Mike’s extremely professional attitude have made him very popular with our guests.

Mike is a little more able to come in and cook on site and he has done this for many special occasions as well as doing more everyday meals.

The feedback has been excellent. We are told he is friendly but unobtrusive. If cooking on site he brings everything with him and takes it all away so no work for the celebrating guests.

Both of our cooks are happy to discuss exactly what you want for your varied group, and the price you want to pay and work with you to achieve your requirements. We did not want to offer a handful of set menus at set prices, so we feel very lucky to have them both on board.

Please remember that both of them are very busy locally and cannot be guaranteed to be available at short notice. We highly recommend you talk to them early on even if it is just to book a date and the details are left until later.
