Tennis Court

Guests are free to make use of our tennis court, which is a short walk from the house and just outside our garden.

We just discuss it on arrival and let you know if and when we are using it. If you have definite times before you come when you want it to be free then please express this and we will do our best to accommodate. Generally it seems to work well in a casual way.

We have found a wonderful local coach who is happy to try and fit in any of our guests who would like some lessons out of school holidays. She is very involved with the local tennis club and happy to put me in touch with other coaches at different times of year, so if you would like to use the time to brush up on your skills either in a group or individually, or to get some coaching for younger group members do ask and we will try and fulfil your requirements.

There is a selection of racquets at Dove House, including some for children if you are unable to bring yours or have never played but fancy having a go!
