Country Sports Events:
We are pleased to have teamed up with this great company that will come to you at Dove House and give you on site entertainment. They are highly experienced in what they do we hope both adult and family groups will enjoy what they do.
Country Sports Events provide fun and relaxing Clay Pigeon Shooting, Archery and Air Pistol shooting for guests in our extensive grounds at a time to suit. Events typically last between 2 to 2.5 hours, but longer sessions can be accommodated if required. All abilities are catered for, ranging from the complete novice to a more experienced individual and our fully qualified and insured instructors will have you hitting targets in no time at all.

Just east of Dorchester is the only place in the south to try this extreme sport that has come from New Zealand.

Go-Karting: Clay Pigeon Raceway
Louis Hamilton and Jenson Button have both used this track! This offers mid-week entertainment for groups of any size for periods of any length! Weekends are race days so no hire facilities but good entertainment if you fancy watching!!

High Ropes - Go Ape:
Described as 3 hrs of adrenalin fuelled fun, laughter and adventure, it is a high wire forest adventure course of ropes, bridges, swings and zip slides. Hugely popular. Based at Moors Valley Country Park where anyone not taking part will be easily amused for the duration. Min age 10 (10-18yr old must be accompanied). Go Ape also has a fantastic Sculpture Trail and cycling providing options for those who don't fancy the adrenalin rush!!

Sailing:
Sail Laser based at National Sailing Academy at Portland, where the Olympic sailing events will take place. Sail Laser run a variety of courses on a selection of boats, you can make up your own group and book an instructor or join in on their sessions. Not between October half-term and Easter.

Deep Sea Fishing:

Fly Fishing

Riding Centres:
Luccombe Riding Centre: A selection of horses and ponies for all standards of rider. There is an indoor and outdoor school for giving lessons whatever the weather and also offers hacks in the surrounding area. Ring to discuss your needs. It is about 20 mins from Dove House.
